Two Days of Culinary Delight
Greek culinary star Akis Petretzikis won the hearts of people in Zagreb
“Baking with Akis”, a popular culinary TV show on 24Kitchen, was coming to town and our mission was to make sure everyone knew about it.
As part of his regional promotional tour for “Baking with Akis”, the beloved Greek chef Akis Petretzikis arrived in Zagreb. The two-day event transformed the city centre into a true Greek oasis, filled with irresistible aromas and flavours and we were there every step of the way.
Day 1: A VIP culinary workshop for journalists and influencers, where Akis demonstrated how to prepare three traditional Greek dishes:
- Crispy prawns in filo pastry with honey sauce
- Sea bass fillet with vegetables and egg-lemon sauce
- Greek millefeuille
Day 2: A live cooking show at Zagreb’s Dolac Market, where Akis, alongside the host Doris Pinčić, prepared pies filled with Greek mizithra cheese and traditional pork souvlaki gyros.
The project went beyond food. It captured the attention of key national media, who covered the chef’s visit to Zagreb and promoted the upcoming broadcast of the show.
